Happy Sunday! This remains my favorite day of the week. Something about Sunday is just so relaxing to me. I spent most of the day with A. We watched some trashy reality TV and a few episodes of Supernatural. I’m currently marathoning the show for what is probably the 100th time, but I don’t care. I love it.
For dinner, she made boneless honey chipotle bbq chicken bites. We’ve been cooking together on Sundays and this is my favorite thing we’ve had.
I’m not usually a big wing person, and maybe I’m a little biased, but these are the best honey bbq wings I’ve ever had. I ate a few of these with a bunch of garlic green beans. It’s so nice to have things like this on my eating plan and still make progress. It’s all about portion sizes. I only had five of these and I was more than satisfied. These will absolutely be a new staple come football season.
I’ve been doing a pretty good job with writing this week. I haven’t missed a day. I’m not always blogging, journaling, and working on my story, but I usually do two of these, so that’s a plus. I’ve reworked my work schedule again, so I’m hoping with only working a half day on Fridays, I’ll have more time to devote to writing. I know it’s the same amount of time, the schedule is just different, but sometimes it’s easier to motivate myself to write if I have a few hours to do it in. It doesn’t feel so rushed.
To keep up the momentum with blogging, I’ve decided to take a stab at a blogging challenge:
This one looks fun and thought provoking. I welcome y’all to join me!
I am also working on a short story, and I’m hoping I can work up to writing a new short story every week. I’ve got to start building my portfolio.
